The Home Bakery was established in 2020 to develop and hold residential properties designed for modern living and to meet today’s rental requirements.
We believe that we can create a more positive landlord and tenant relationship that mutually benefits both parties by delivering:
- Homes built with a focus on being great to live in and meeting the needs of modern living situations.
- Homes built to meet the rental demands of specific locations. Developers often build to meet the demand from home purchasers which often leaves gaps in the types of homes tenants are seeking.
- Security of tenure, as a build to rent landlord we offer tenants secure tenure and welcome long-term tenancies, allowing tenants to establish connections in the local community.
- Professional property management, we own Glasshouse Property Management, an established reputable property management business that treats tenants with respect and protects the rights and responsibilities of all parties under the Residential Tenancies Act.

Increase the supply of rental housing in the Waikato and create the types of homes most needed in the areas most sought after, while creating positive rental experiences for tenants by providing secure tenure, professional management, and high-quality homes.
